Static Mafia’s artistic foundation is rooted in a personal journey. A decorated military veteran who served multiple tours of combat duty, he grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and later relocated to the Tampa Bay area. His intensive artistic pursuit began as a form of music therapy to manage the effects of PTSD. Now several years into the project, Static Mafia continues to push the limits of electronic music by adding new technology to traditional production methods, solidifying his role as an experienced producer, composer, songwriter, and remix artist.
"Christmastrumentals 1" is a demonstration of this unique approach, containing a diverse collection of tracks that carry the artist's signature genres, including R&B-Chill-Trap, Chopped-And-Screwed-Boom-Bap-Trap, and Bachata-Trap-House—a sound that other composers are starting to try and replicate.
